Attention!!!
While we don't know for certain as of yet what school will look like in the fall, one we do know is that kids MUST have their immunizations up to date before they will be allowed in schools. Please check with your county health provider or clinic to see what shots your child/children may need to be considered up to date.
Lunch Delivery
In an effort to ensure the continued safety of our families and our lunch staff, we are asking that no one come out to pick up the lunches until the bus has pulled away. This will make sure that we are keeping you all as safe as possible!

All Native rising high school juniors/seniors, and college & university students, are invited to register for the Native Pathways Summer Virtual Camp 2020! You’ll be engaged in 3 Days of interactive workshops and activities on college admissions and planning, major and career exploration, financial literacy, and more. Registration is open through Friday, JULY 17, midnight (MDT).

There will be no meal delivery tomorrow, July 2nd due to the holiday weekend. Meal delivery will resume on Monday, July 6th. Have a happy 4th of July & stay safe!!
There will be open gym for volleyball on July 8th at 5:00 p.m. at the Four Winds gym. This is for all girls who will be in grades 7-12 during the upcoming school year. 7th graders and those who did not participate in sports last year must have a physical before the season starts.
If you were in summer school distance learning please return your Chromebook by tomorrow, Thursday July 2nd.
Sports Physicals
For the 2020-21 school year those student athletes who had a physical completed for the 2019-20 school year only need to fill out form B. They will not need another physical. Please contact the school for this form.
Also, all 7th graders who wish to participate MUST have a physical.

The Minnewaukan Public School is looking for substitute teachers for both short term and long term positions. In order to receive a interim substitute teacher license in the state of ND you need to have an equivalent to a 2 year degree. Substitute teacher pay is $125/day plus mileage and free lunch. Unfortunately, at this time, if you still have a Chromebook that has still not been returned we will be using GPS to contact law enforcement to retrieve them. You may turn into your meal delivery driver or bring to the school by Monday.
NATURE Camp 2020 information:
Students, grades 9-12 interested in joining NATURE camp 2020 please send an email to dan.tuhy@minnewaukan.k12.nd.us , john.lohnes@k12.nd.us , or lori.gourneau@littlehoop.edu to apply. NATURE camp will be done on-line with orientation at Cankdeska Cikana on the first day of camp. Students will need to have reliable access to the internet and a computer device with a camera (cell phone, laptop). The camp will utilize Google Classroom to deliver instruction. Camp is limited to the first 20 applicants. As in years past, there will be a $40/day stipend upon completion of that day’s activity. State guidelines for Covid-19 will be followed when students are on campus.
We will only be posting about lunches when there is something new we are sending out!
Lunch - Taco in a Bag - Heat taco meat for 30-45 seconds. There is also a nacho cheese cup instead of shredded cheese, lettuce is also included.
