The Homecoming dance will be Friday, September 20th from 9:00PM until Midnight for students in grades 7-12. This event is free for students. All students attending must arrive by 10:00PM. Music will be provided by R&R entertainment and snacks will be served throughout the night.

Minnewaukan School Homecoming will be celebrated September 16th-20th. Coronation will take place at 10:30AM on September 16th. Come out to the school to see who will be crowned the Homecoming 2019 King and Queen. This event is open to community and student family members.

If your elementary child has perfect attendance each month they will be given an incentive such as a movie day or extra recess. At semester time there will be a larger field trip for perfect attendance.

21st Century starts today! Students who live in the areas of Rolling Hills, Oberon, and St. Michael will not be able to stay until October due to lack of drivers. Call the school with any questions.

The summer school field trip has just departed from Grand Forks. Expect your child home between 3:30-5:30.
The buses for the summer school field trip have just departed Devils Lake. We plan to start swimming at the Canad Inn at 11:30. We will be leaving there around 2:00. Routes will be different as we will not be going back to school. Expect your child home between 3:30 and 5:30.
Summer school students who missed less than 2 days will be bringing home a field trip waiver that needs to be signed and returned tomorrow.
Summer school students who have missed less than two days of summer school will be eligible to go on a field trip to the Canad Inn on Thursday June 20th.
There will be a mandatory athlete/parent rules meeting for football grades 9-12 on August 5 at 7:30 in the Devils Lake HS commons. Junior high for grades 7-8 football meeting is August 6 at 7:30 in the HS commons.
The summer school students will be going on a field trip to Sully’s Hill tomorrow. We will be departing from the school around 1:00. Expect your child home a little earlier than usual for the summer school hours. PLEASE send your child with a water bottle tomorrow.
