School Reopening Plan We know that all our families have been waiting to see what our plan was for school amid Covid-19. At last night's school board meeting it was decided that we will begin the 2020-21 school year in distance learning. We will watch the cases and when it is safe to do so, we will bring students in for in person learning. More information will be coming.

Trio STEM Camp 2020 information: Here is another great opportunity for students to engage in STEM activities! Students grades 9-12 interested in joining Trio STEM camp 2020 please send an email to dan.tuhy@minnewaukan.k12.nd.us , cali.demarce@littlehoop.edu, or lori.gourneau@littlehoop.edu to apply. Trio STEM camp will be done on-line with orientation at Cankdeska Cikana on August 3rd. Camp will run for 2 weeks until August 14th. Students will need to have reliable access to the internet and a computer device with a camera (cell phone, laptop). The camp will utilize Google Classroom to deliver instruction. Camp is limited to the first 20 applicants. As in years past, there will be a $40/day stipend upon completion of that day’s activity. State guidelines for Covid-19 will be followed when students are on campus.

The response to the survey was majority wanting to have their students in school at least some days. If you would prefer your child to ONLY participate in distance learning at home please call the school by August 3rd.

Attention!!! While we don't know for certain as of yet what school will look like in the fall, one we do know is that kids MUST have their immunizations up to date before they will be allowed in schools. Please check with your county health provider or clinic to see what shots your child/children may need to be considered up to date.

Lunch Delivery In an effort to ensure the continued safety of our families and our lunch staff, we are asking that no one come out to pick up the lunches until the bus has pulled away. This will make sure that we are keeping you all as safe as possible!

If you were in summer school distance learning please return your Chromebook by tomorrow, Thursday July 2nd.

There will be no meal delivery tomorrow, July 2nd due to the holiday weekend. Meal delivery will resume on Monday, July 6th. Have a happy 4th of July & stay safe!!

There will be open gym for volleyball on July 8th at 5:00 p.m. at the Four Winds gym. This is for all girls who will be in grades 7-12 during the upcoming school year. 7th graders and those who did not participate in sports last year must have a physical before the season starts.

Sports Physicals For the 2020-21 school year those student athletes who had a physical completed for the 2019-20 school year only need to fill out form B. They will not need another physical. Please contact the school for this form. Also, all 7th graders who wish to participate MUST have a physical.
